While I'm typically faithful to good Northwest neutrals—gray, brown, white, taupe—during the summer, it's fun to break out some more-colorful glassware for entertaining. Here is some glassware from local shops or artisans to break out of the clear monotony. But I don't stray too far from Northwest-inspired colors: These four examples all remind me of sea glass.

Parisian Glass, $40 for a set of four in clear, green, pink, or purple from Seattle's Rosanna; Decicio Glass tall drinking glass, $45 at Seattle's Far4. |

Aino Aalto Small Tumbler, $10 each from Portland's Hive Modern; Wine Punt drinking glasses, $10 for 10 oz. and $12 for 12 oz. at Portland's Pigeon Toe. |
