Product of the Week: Bare Ring Sconce

1920s-era house remodeled by E. Cobb Architects in Seattle
Our product of the week references one of the incredible houses on this past weekend's Seattle Modern Home Tour. Spotted within the tour's only historic, traditional house, these sconces by Brendan Ravenhill Studio in L.A. were used throughout the modern-on-the-inside residence, and to great effect. The Bare Ring Sconce, which lends itself well to both a contemporary or traditional interior, was a collaboration between the studio and Eric Trine, who studied at Pacific Northwest College of Art and the Oregon College of Art and Craft. As you can see in the living room of this house, they add a clean-lined element around the fireplace. You really can teach an old house new tricks!
